Viru Keskus’s video surveillance system was upgraded by Nixor by replacing the old and unreliable Intellex recorders with a modern server based video surveillance software from ISS. We installed the most comprehensive CCTV solution called SecurOS with 4 video servers and 2 storage servers in RIDE 3.

 

NixSHOP sales system and POS was taken into use in Saaremaa TÜ’s cafe in February. The cafe is now controlled from Saaremaa TÜ’s central head office where product, recipe, pricing and warehouse is managed.

In February Nixor implemented OCM-ERC fiscal solution for Tallink Grupp AS, for which we developed a special software module between OCM and fiscal point of sale. The new soon to be opened Tallink Hotel Riga (THR) uses this solution. The solution was developed and delivered in collaboration with Nixor LV.
We also supplied and installed the Nixor THR’s cash and sales system software, hardware and information systems. OCM software and the HP, Epson, IBM cash register hardware was taken into use. Work was implemented in cooperation with the Nixor LV.
In addition Nixor EE in collaboration with Nixor LV supplied and installed THR’s point of sale surveillance system (POS), using the SecurOS video surveillance system together with POS-inspector module and megapixel IQinvision IP cameras.

Nixor implemented Oscar sale system in Rannarootsi Selver and NixPay EMV installation in February.
We also installed I-terminal into the alcohol department of Järve Selver. I-terminal is a new and innovative solution from Nixor which performs as an information terminal for wines. The pilot project that was implemented is called Veinimeedia (Wine media) and the solution is meant for customers who are interested in buying a wine but don’t know what sort of wine to buy. Veinimedia (wine media) helps the customer to decide by presenting information about the wine. A scanner reads the bar code and the terminal shows information like country and area of the wine, year of harvest,  with what good does the wine suite with, etc. The solution will be available for the customers for a period of one month to test and explore. At the end of the pilot Selver will make a decision to acquire Veinimeedia, initially to the Järve Selver and then later into 10-major stores.
In addition Nixor installed Space Pole solution into the Järve Selver cashier lines. Space Pole provides a more ergonomic and cleaner look of the POS.
